My rabbit has recently started to not like any toys I give her, and she won’t chew on anything to keep her teeth down, so they’re getting long. They haven’t started curling yet, but I don’t want them to get to that point. I’ve tried all kinds of wooden toys, toilet paper tubes and given her homegrown apple branches, but she doesn’t seem to like anything anymore. What do you recommend I give her? Is there anything your rabbit loves to chew on? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hay is what primarily keeps their teeth worn down so as long as she’s eating plenty of hay, it’s unlikely that her teeth will grow too long.

My rabbits love chewing apple twigs, willow toys and also their nice (newish!) wooden castle – they like to chew on the ramps ?

            Does she have an underbite?
Magpie does therefore she doesn’t chew AT ALL. Not even crunchy treats, so I have to trim her teeth.
            (Before anyone freaks out:
The vet showed me exactly how AND said I would be able to do it. ?)

She doesn’t have an underbite. She does eat some hay but not a lot. I’ll try getting her some hay and willow toys

every single rabbit I’ve had hasn’t been a big chewer, i’ve gotten them all sorts of chews, grass mats, and cardboard boxes, but they haven’t really ever been interested in any of it. I don’t think it’s a really big problem unless they’re not eating their hay as stated before. I’ve found that with seagrass mats they like to dig and shred them, so at least it’s something to keep their minds going!!! maybe something you could consider, even if they don’t chew it they’ll have some fun with it!
