  Some of the most amazing things are in Sweden– like our Forum Leader Bam! In honor of Bam’s Birthday, I found two other amazing things in Sweden — The Turning Torso Building and Bam’s Bunny Vilde, who is taking a stroll on the sidewalk below. How lucky to have such a huge bunny! LOL

  I had a perfect day, long hike in my favorite woods. Lots of winter chanterelles and, remarkably, sunshine all day. Effi (dog) was really happy, it’s such a joy to see how nature transforms her even though she is a bit old and arthritic. And then I came home to the loveliest of Vildeses, He’s been in very high spirits all evening, sprinting all around the apt.

  LPT, you must have lots and lots of chanterelles in your neck of the woods, I’d think? Canada must be great for mushroom hunting.

  Jealous of the winter chanterelles! did you pick them yourself? Chanterelles are one of my favourite mushrooms, they’re even in one of my tattoos! I used to be in Vancouver which had tooooonnnnns of them. I sadly did not take advantage of that enough though ):

  Rabbitpossum, we pick the chanterelles ourselves. Mushroom hunting is so peaceful and my dog certainly doesn’t mind spending the day in the woods ?

  We don’t really have chanterelles here. Fall mushrooms are puffballs and oyster usually. Of course, everyone just wants spring mushrooms around here (morels).
