Hi all, i was just sitting on my computer and heard some little sounds coming from my bunny. He was sleeping really well, and it sounded like a quiet snoring sound (like in a dog). I’m just wondering if it is bad or something. Thanks!

Actually, doing more research, it sounds like it could be a honk. I’ve never heard him do that beofre, but I think its okay!

Some bunnies do snore when they sleep.

One of my bunnies makes a similar honking noise. Because it’s relatively high pitched, I’d almost describe it as whimpering… but he only does it when he’s asleep or really relaxed! It’s pretty cute

Hi there, nothing to worry about, my Olly snores a lot, he wakes me up, the vet says it’s fine, I know if you look on Google everything is dangerous, a bunny is very relaxed if he or she snores.

Yup. Some bunnies snore. My Bindi did. It seems to be more common in flatter faced bunnies.

Well, Buddy is a lop bunny, so you know, the flatter face. Thanks everyone!
