So, day and night I have been trying to ask myself “is a rhoomba worth it?” Sure it will be a nice addition to my cleaning supplies. However, I don’t really know if it does that great of a job cleaning up hay and fur. If I get one I will primarily use it for my room which my rabbit lives in too because I live with other people as well, but that is besides the point. I have come close to buying one, but I don’t know how it will work out, so I turned to this forum. Which leads me to the q&a section full of people who miraculously care about my questions. So, if anyone here uses a rhoomba for your rabbit’s xpen or area let me know if it’s worth it and if it will make your life a lot easier. Thank you in advance for the people who reply.

Hello! I can tell you that with constant daily vacuuming with a small shop vac, I can barely keep up with the fur of three rabbits on hardwood floors. The bag fills quickly and the soft and fluffy under-fur is clingy! I would think a little room a would get backed up, clogged and damaged pretty quickly.

I know the struggle of having hay and bunny hair all over LOL. I would say a rhoomba wouldn’t be able to break the hay, which would lead it to getting stuck and possibly damaging it. You could try breaking the hay into smaller pieces, but personally I just have a trash can in my xpen and a broom so I can sweep everything faster. My buns don’t like vacuums that well.
