I’ve had Bella for about 3 weeks now and she’s nearly 3 months old. She’s very playful and mostly litter-trained in her hutch. Recently, I’ve let her run around the living room which she LOVES. She’s always binkying and hopping around. However, whenever I sit with her on the sofa she pees on me. This has only started happening recently. I’ll sit with her on my chest and she climbs up my shoulder and then I feel warmth (really not pleasant). Whilst I don’t mind as she is a baby, it’s annoying to keep changing clothes and washing them everytime she has an accident. She’s not spayed yet so is this territorial or even fear? Also how can I reduce it?? Any suggestions are appreciated

It sounds like hormones are kicking in. There’s really no way to reduce it per se, but you could drape something with her smell on you and your shoulders. It might make her feel like it’s already her territory and that she doesn’t need to mark it. Along the lines of pee, she might start pooping all over the place. Litter training will be next to impossible until she’s spayed. Just a heads up

Ah this makes more sense, thank you! I’ve noticed she poops A LOT and especially when I place her on my bed. I’m going to buy a blanket without any sawdust on so I can place it on my bed and she can scent it without peeing on my bed! I’ll get her spayed as soon as
