Hey guys, i was wondering if anyone here had some experience with severe bladder sludge. Long story short, Gimly(8 yr old mini lop) has been having small bouts of it since about april. This past week i noticed something was off, he seemed more tired, wasnt exploring as much, and i even saw him run into a couple things. So i took him into his vet this past friday, vitals were good, he was alert and responsive, eyes were hazy but no cataracts. We did an xray and it basically showed the majority of his bladder with sludge. no bladder or kidney stones. got him Sub-Q fluids and he perked up more saturday/sunday, i noticed him pass some sludge, and he was peeing alot more. the vet suggested he get fluids 2-3 times a week to help pass it to a normal amount again or completely. I have also been pushing more water via syringe to him as well. How long would it take to get him to pass most of this? could his running into things be a byproduct of not feeling as active and well?( hes showing no other signs of a neuro issue). hes still eating hay, pooping, taking treats, and being excited for his dinner.

Poor thing! My lop had it very very bad. She needed to be on subq fluids for a week to over hydrate and get the sludge out, also pain meds will help any discomfort.
