About 3 months ago, I adopted a rescue holland lop bunny who’s name is Dexter. He’s currently ~6 months old. A few days ago we received a call about a “wild” bunny coming up to my mother’s co-workers, who were afraid to leave it alone. My mother and I knew a wild bunny wouldn’t just come up to people and allow to be picked up, so we scheduled an appointment for the vet this upcoming Monday to check for a chip. Meanwhile, we went on social media and spread the word of a pet bunny on the loose. It’s now the third day we’ve taken care of the new bun, with no known gender, and we’re getting curious about the bunny’s breed since the head shape is very weird from dexter’s round frame. We’ve estimated its age to around 2-3 months old, and the bun is smaller than 6 month old Dexter. It has short legs, a curved back, and an awkwardly shaped head with upright ears that are curved towards the tips which resemble a “V” shape. I’ve tried my best to take photos at every angle, so please bear with me on my part. I’d appreciate if it if I receive feedback.
We may plan on keeping the bunny, if Dexter approves of it’s existence. He’s very interested in the bun, but he receives bites from the newly found one who pulls out hair from his head.
