My New Zealand white bunny, euro, suddenly has one lop ear. I thought she had ear mites because she was scratching her ear a lot and it seemed to bother her. I started doing the natural ear treatment for her and it seemed to be getting better. Several days into it, I came in in the morning and one of her ears was flipped over to the side. I thought it would get better but it hasn’t yet. One ear is fine, and stays straight up, but the other one is just limp. Even when I set it up again, it just fell back over. It doesn’t seem to be swollen or anything. Any ideas on what it might be? Euro doesn’t seem very bothered by it. Maybe it’s nothing to worry about? Is it possible for her to break it or maybe she has some kind of lop in her? The only time she seems to be able to move it is when she is super interested in something, such as food.

She might be part lop and in that case there’s nothing to worry about. How old is she?

Lop rabbits usually start with their ears up and then lop so that is perfectly normal for a rabbit.

Sounds like some lop got mixed in there somewhere. The one ear just decided to lop.
