So I have a beautiful silver marten bun and it seems she has shed her undercoat in one evening. I was wondering if this was normal? She’s eating and drinking just fine, and seems to have her normal amount of energy. This is my first silver marten so I wasn’t sure if this is a trait of her breed. Thank you in advance!

I honestly do not know what a rabbit’s top coat vs undercoat is, but, I do know that during a molt, tiny bits or large areas can decide to release at once. It’s possible that a very large area suddenly gives way.
