You guys I need some help my 10 week old holland lop “Latte” pees when someone picks him up, almost like it’s on purpose. He will also poop a ton when held too. There is definitely droppings in his litter box but it’s almost like he’s being defiant?

Key notes we adopted him a week ago.
        He is not fixed.

He could be marking. Although if he pees the moment you pick him up, it’s probably fear.
The poopies do indicate marking though. Often extra big poops with a sheen to them and a rather disctinct smell of onions. At ten weeks he’s starting puberty, this process can be sped up by the stress of getting a new home – even if it’s the best of homes, changing location is always a stressor.

I’d put him back on the floor, preferably in a litterbox, the moment you see him make like he’s going to pee. They often signal in some way, for example by starting to dig or just by starting to raise their tail. This is hormonally driven, so he’s not doing it to spite you – in the rabbit world, being peed on is actually a compliment.

A week is a very short time for a rabbit who is settling in, he’s still confused about his new home and humans.
