Quick question, bunny owners! I ran out of bunny litter and won’t be able to get more until tomorrow. I’m also out of paper towels. So pretty much the only option I had to clean Clover’s litter box tonight was to use an entire roll of charmin toilet paper. Is that safe for bunnies? Or are there some chemicals he shouldn’t be around? He’s not really one to tear paper or chew much, so I really don’t expect him to eat it, it’d be uncharacteristic of him. (It def COULD happen, I just don’t expect him to.) What do you guys think? Is this safe to do? I just really don’t have anything good on hand to use.

Toilet paper wouldn’t be harmful. I would just worry about him eating it because it could cause an obstruction if he ate a lot. Do you have a litter screen?

An old towel or blanket might be better if you have one? But I suppose that would also be a chew risk.
