Hello, I’m currently struggling to bond a trio and couldn’t really find any situations similar to mine. Moo (male) and Bunita (female) are a bonded pair and I have been pre-bonding with Chip (male). They are all fixed and after two weeks of pre-bonding, I introduced Moo and Chip in a neutral territory. I was told it was best to bond the males first then add the female so this is the approach I took. Moo and Chip surprisingly got along really well and began grooming each other at the first session. After a few sessions, I introduced Bunita into their bonding sessions. The problem with my bonding is that Bunita lunges, nips, and chases Chip whenever he is near. I’ve tried to put them in a carrier and go for car rides or walk around, but once they’re back on floor, she behaves the same way towards him. I’m really lost on what I should do to make bonding this trio successful since Moo and Chip get along so well, but Moo is bonded to Bunita and she refuses to accept Chip. Any advice and tips would be greatly appreciated!

A member has successfully bonded a trip. Here is their bonding journal!

Unfortunately I’m not experienced with bonding, but hopefully their experience will provide some insight!

Thank you Wick! That journal was extremely helpful and pretty similar situation with mine. Hopefully this trio works out

I would just add that you should pre bond for at least a month rather than just two weeks
