Hello, my bunny Cadbury has had a mole on his ear for as long as I can remember. Recently a few pieces have come off while massaging his ears, and I’m not sure if it’s just dried blood or actually pieces of the mole. He’s about 4 years old and he does scratch at his ears sometimes, and I’m having his nails trimmed on Friday (and a vet tech will look at the mole).

        Some info:

-border hasn’t changed as far as I’m aware

-color hasn’t changed over the years

-size has mildly changed as he grew but has been stable for years

-when I removed the pieces it did bleed slightly (less than half a drop)

-bunny is otherwise normal & healthy

I put the pieces on a small strip of duct tape and took some pictures with a mineral lens for close-up:

          That looks like a papilloma.
