I got my bunny a few years ago when i was in year 7. We got her when I started secondary school and at that time we moved to a new house as well. She was only a few weeks old and we would keep her indoors. After a while, we moved her hutch outdoors, and we would open the door and let her run around in the day time and then put her back into her hutch at night time. She was the friendliest bunny ever, and would love head-rubs. Whenever someone went outside she would always run to us for play-time. She was beautiful as well, white with brown patches and beautiful eyes.
This morning when she was lying on the grass i noticed she had a patch of fur missing and what looked like a wound. I took her to the vets and they said she had cancer, and it had burst. The vet said the best option was to put her to sleep, as she was 8 years old now and the surgery may not exceed. They put her to sleep earlier today.
Daisy has been with me through everything. I’m in year 13 now, and I’m leaving for University in a week. She’s been with me through weight problems, illnesses, exams, everything. She has always given so much love and been the friendliest bunny ever.
Her passing away was so sudden, she was even happy and well yesterday.
I feel extremely sad, and i feel like my connection to her was extremely strong.
Thank’s for keeping me company Daisy, through the whole of my secondary school life and sixth form. Love you so much!
