I adopted Scarpetta when she was about a year old. Her papers said she was a lop mix. I want to figure out her mix to make sure her weight is okay. My vet couldn’t tell me if she was overweight or not without knowing her breed. I think she is a mini lop/lion head mix (I attached two pictures). She’s four and a half now and less active than she used to be. She’s ~7 lbs and when she stretches out she’s 19 inches long. Being that she is so long, do you guys think her weight is okay?

        Thanks guys!!!

If you’re in the US, id definitely say mini lop/lionhead mix. And she’s beautiful! 7 pounds is about right for that combination!

I agree. And just by looking at her, she doesn’t appear to be overweight at all. One way to tell is to feel their ribs. You should be able to feel them, but there should be a nice cushion of muscle between them. If you can’t feel them at all, then the bunny has some extra weight.
