Most bunnies really don’t like hardwood. It’s really hard for them to navigate on it. Could you lay down some fleece or something for him to hop on? It’ll really help him to feel more at ease.

How long have you had your new bun? It’s recommended you wait at least a month to let your new bun settle, then prebond for another month, then you can begin short bonding sessions.

Lots of rabbits have a floor-is-lava attitude to wooden and tile floors. In my opinion, it’s best to just get more rugs for them to make them feel secure. They can be extremely stubborn!

Hi, unfortunately, bunnies have their little quirks when it comes to flooring. Mine likes tiles and hates/is scared of fleece or other soft surfaces.

As we fear that he can hurt his paws, we’re introducing fleece slowly. Maybe you could do that with hard floors? Maybe put his food bowl on hard floors only during feeding times (or even only once a day), so that he looses his fear of them? It’s working with Tambor when nothing else did

Btw, as others suggested hard floors are hard to navigate and slippery to bunnies, so it makes sense he doesn’t take to them much..
