Hi everyone, just a quick question!
My bunnies drink from water bottles. Mimi drinks properly, but Mochi has always chewed on the metal end to get the water to come out. I’ve tried using a water bowl instead, but it only takes about an hour before it gets dirty (from fur, poop, and hay). Also, sometimes they step in it, which makes me worried for their skin. That’s why I’ve stuck with water bottles.
Anyway, today I took a look at Mochi’s teeth and noticed the front ones look kind of misshapen – I’m assuming it’s from chewing on the water bottle, since Mimi’s teeth are perfectly straight. Here’s a picture of Mochi’s teeth:

Is this shape a problem? I’m a little worried that it might somehow affect his eating, or the corners might scrape the inside of his mouth…am I worrying for nothing? I haven’t noticed any changes in his eating habits.
By the way, he saw a rabbit-savvy vet back in March who checked his teeth and said they were fine then. I’ve never looked at them before today so I don’t know if this is new or not.
Thanks for reading!
