So Nachos went into stasis on Wednesday. She’s on 2 gut stimulants, pain meds and liquid feed when she needs it. She won’t eat or go the loo in her cage, but will do as long as she’s free roam. She’s still not eating as much hay as I’d like (tried Timothy and orchard hay, forage). I’ve left her free roam at night (she refuses to go in, the room is bunny proofed) but I can’t let her free roam constantly as my other bun needs to come out of his cage (they’re in the same room). We’ve had her for 5 months, when we got her we didn’t think that it would take this long to bond but I don’t know what to do. I don’t really have the space in the room for another x-pen, she’s in a large dog cage and comes out usually for 4-6 hours a day. She gets stressed so easily that even giving her meds or going near her is spooking her

I’m sorry to hear your dealing with stasis at the moment. I think a lot of bunnies are going through it so you’re not alone.

I’m not sure how feasible this is but could you split your living room in half and give each bun half? So they can essentially free roam 24/7? That’s what I did when I had to keep mine apart. It might ease the stress for Nachos (nice name btw!)

If you’re having trouble bonding btw, feel free to make a thread in the bonding section and we might be able to offer some tips/guidance

I don’t think I would be able to split the living room, I’ll see if we can rearrange everything to make it abit easier. She’s a sweet bun as long as she’s got her space. She was never like it before so I think I’m just gunna have to step up the bonding and make them friends
