As you know patches died Monday. His partner Penelope is now a single bun. I have a bonded pair Caramel and Bunky. I’ve tried to bond all four in the past but I think Bunky and patch didn’t like eachother so it wasn’t working. Of course I’ll do all the prebonding and fun stuff, since I don’t want to get a new partner for Penelope, but I don’t want to keep her alone as splitting my time between them has been a lot . I don’t know when I should start the prebonding. I know she is eating okay, she seems a little lost so I’m trying to spend more time with her. Has anyone gone through this before?

        Thank you!

I’ve no experience with this so take what I say with a pinch of salt but I think, no time like the present! If Penelope is a little lost, she might be more interested in making friends. There’s no harm in starting

I am so sorry for your loss of Patches. I agree with Sarah, and while also not an expert – I’m trying to bond my own Penelope (Penny) right now – , maybe start with the pre-bonding and see how she takes with that.

There is a bonding section on this forum, in case that helps you more there input.

Yeah I ment to put this there. My head has been elsewhere.

Thank you guys! I’ll try and do some prebonding and see how she takes it.
