Hi everyone! So mars is getting neutered Very soon and I completely forgot about the cage. Does anyone recommend a good cage that is affordable and high enough that he can’t jump over it?? Mars is usually free roam but I read somewhere that they have to be caged.

You should limit space, yes. This is so he doesn’t jump or Sprint around too much, which can strain the surgical site and potentially open it or tear it, which is painful and may lead to infections.

If you do not have a cage, see if you can rearrange some furniture in order to create a slightly smaller space. Try and take out anything he typically likes to jump on, and if you see he may try to jump up on something, either make an easy ramp so he can likely walk up, or deter him by keeping him occupied on the floor.
