Yesterday there were about two dozen tiny ticks around her eyes, I picked them off with a tweezers. Today I picked off about a dozen more. She did have outside time running around the yard. Any idea why so many and why so small? Did an adult lay eggs?

I’ve never had experiences with ticks, but my understanding with ticks, mites, and generally all bug infestations is that there are some that you can see, but there’s always some that are small and microscopic, meaning just removing those you see is not adequate treatment.

Have you seen a rabbit savvy vet to discuss medication? I don’t think tweezers will rid the infestation, since you can’t see all specimens.

Separate question, did you find the source of the ticks and/or have you cleaned the environment? I’m unsure if ticks can survive on other surfaces, but cleaning the environment is never a bad idea to prevent future infestations.
