I work a lot, and my husband also works. When I get home at 4:30pm, I keep my bunny out for around 5 hours. Is this enough time for him to be out of his cage on a daily basis?

From you previous post, I’m guessing you’ve still only had him a few days? He might not be super eager to be out and about you and still getting a feel for the new space. But 5 hours is definitely a good amount of time for him to exercise and stretch his muscles. You might start noticing he becomes a pain after midnight, and that’s just because that’s really when they start becoming active

I have only had him since last Wednesday and was just worried he was in his cage too often. But today when I went home for lunch and let him out he tried to go right back in his cage so he obviously doesn’t mind too much lol! He has been sick since we got him and today he finally poo’d so he is starting to show his personality and it is so fun to see!

5 hours sounds great to me. Of course if they are siesta hours, bun won’t do much moving around… lol.
Try to make sure he can get out in his active hours, morning and evening.

He is running around like crazy! He finally started feeling better so he’s being wild now!
