I haven’t been able to post, only briefly scan, lately due to being sick but I’m doing much better! But that’s not why you guys are here so nevermind anything about that. Anyway I feel like I post and reply with too much negativity so I wanted to share something pretty good. Today was a cooler day so my dad decided to let the buns play on the front porch (it’s closed off, by that I mean it has walls and a porch door) and they loved it, or so I believe they did since it has more room and they haven’t played there in a while. If that isn’t good enough when my dad picked fresh grass he found some wild blackberries and we gave one to Thumper. It was hilarious, they went to eat it then spat it out, went to eat it again and again spat it out then finally fully ate it and went for another one. I’m not sure if Blossom enjoyed it (we put them back in their cages and I put the blackberries in their pellet bowl and left) but I’m pretty sure that they did (since when I came back less then a minute later all or most of the blackberries were gone). Sorry, this isn’t an important post but again I just feel like I post and reply with too much negativity and drama so I figured a simple positive post like this one was in order. And plus, I wanted to share my buns first blackberry try-out.

It’s always great to hear about happy buns! It sounds like they had a lovely day
My Bam eats blackberries, but when I tried giving him a mulberry earlier this summer, he spit it out ? His newest favorite is gooseberries ?

Yeah, it really is.
I feel like we don’t hear enough positivity when it comes to animals and I hope they did. Lol, oh Bam you silly. XD Well now you know what to feed him to spoil-err- “train” him. XD Wait, what’s that? I hear something. “Hoomin, I desire more gooseberries!” Huh, weird. ![]()

So happy to hear happy buns in the house! My gal has a nose for anything sweet… across a full room… two shelves up in the fridge… she will smell any berry and tackle you instantly…although I do admit most blackberries, I don’t like to share… naughty mom,.. I know, but they are pretty big so I give her a tiny bit and then she gets a grape or a few blueberries…
We are here for you, I’m with Boo… feel free to reach out to me as well…

Lol! And they say dogs have good noses!
I don’t mean to sound rude or mean but I thought grapes were bad for rabbits? I read that quite a few times while doing research. ?:< Also, some sweet fruits for the sweet bun! ???

Grapes are definitely on all the safe food lists I refer to… I’ve given them to my buns a few times and not had any problems. Same as any fruit, only a little portion a couple of times a week.
