Hi everyone!  Just wondering what your recommendations are for bunny toys.  (DIY preferably )  Thanks!

There are some great toy ideas on the internet that are free and easy. As for what I use, empty toilet paper rolls are a common sight in my bunny’s cage. Rabbit’s love throwing them. You could also put a treat inside one and put crumpled paper on either side and see if the rabbit can find it. Some rabbits also love nudging balls with their noses, so experiment and find out what your bunny likes. Good luck!

I just stuff a toilet paper roll with hay and that keeps her busy for a while toilet rolls are great for DIY toys, you can practically make anything with them. And they’re bunny safe

I actually made my bunnies a sandbox. They love it and it’s fun to watch them.

Toilet Paper rolls are a forever go to. Like what everyone else suggested. I also have found if you have a bunch, putting them tightly inside a larger box keeps them entertained as well.

Dried okra is a wonderful toy/ treat. The seeds rattle around inside and when the pod is breached, it makes a wholesome snack.
I have a friend that uses a dehydrator on fresh, clean organic okra and shares some with me. If you find dried okra in a health food store, be sure to see if it’s been treated with salt and/ or sugar, and if so, rinse well and let it dry. My bun loves it.

@LRose do you have a link or tutorial you could send me for that sandbox? It looks like my bun would really enjoy it

I took two water bottles cut off the bottoms then shoved the tops inside each other, this toy can have treats placed inside of it for bunnys to chance, throw, and dig at (just make sure your bunny does not eat any plastic)

My bunny enjoys pinecones (cleaned and she doesn’t eat them). She also likes playing with towels. Cardboard boxes are great too (tape and staples removed and little printing). I put several toys and hand towels in a fairly big box and she went nuts.
