Have you guys ever been paranoid that their bun would just flop and die?

Every time I see shooky laying there I feel worried very worried. So I’m just next to him checking if he is breathing. I don’t know why I’m paranoid since he is healthy and can’t just die out of nowhere…right?

Oh yeah, I do all the time, but mine have health issues so I always think it.

Buns have a set time on earth with us so at any time they can go, just like cats and dogs. You have to enjoy the time you have with them.

I think any bun parent freaks out a bit when they see their bun flop and not move.

Oh yes, bunny flops are a known cause of almost-heart attacks in hoomins! I always feel the urge to poke my bun when he’s flopped. But then I don’t want to disturb him when he’s so relaxed and comfy, so I try to restrain myself ?

I remember one member told us she dashed off to the vet with her bunny because he’d “passed out”. It does look scary, I doubt I’ll ever get quite used to it ??
