I’ll attach a picture of what I saw. I just adopted a bunny from a local rabbit rescue. She just turned one in early July. She is spayed, has been to a vet, and was well taken care of. I keep her in a cage over night with some newspaper for bedding, pellets, lettuce, and hay. It must’ve been there this morning, but I didn’t notice. My mom took her out and put her in her pen in the living room and I went to school and then work. My sister stayed with her all day and there was nothing like this in her pen. Everything seemed normal. When I put her back in her cage just now, I noticed this. Is it poop? Is it wet newspaper. Did she maybe eat the newspaper? Please help! Thanks.
She’s a lionhead by the way.

I don’t see any pictures. You need to insert the pictures into the post after uploading them A forum leader may be able to help you with that though.

Meanwhile I’ll just try to imagine it. Is it like a clump of grape-looking poop, slightly wet and dark? Try looking up “bunny cecotropes” to see if that’s what it is. Rabbits normally eat them so it’s rarely seen. If there’s an abundance of cecotropes then it may indicate a diet issue.

How much pellets do you feed your bun? The BUNNY INFO section on this site provides good information for bunny owners if you’re new to this

Welcome to BB Brooke! I didn’t see a picture attached to your post. Kurotta is correct that after you attach picture, you need to click the “insert” button once it appears in your attachments.
