        Two months ago I noticed a hard crusty growth on my mini lop’s ear. It has not gone away since and was wondering what it might be?

          It could perhaps be a papilloma. It’s caused by a virus. Insect-bites are a common route of infection.

            I agree with Bam but only a vet can say for sure so I suggest you get it checked out.

              Yes, it looks like a keratinized papilloma. Although mostly harmless, it would be a good idea to have the vet take a look just to confirm that is what it is.
