Hi everyone
We have 2 house bunnies – 1 male 1 female have been bonded for a year.
We have had our boy for 3 years and his girl for 1.
I have had some trouble with our girl Leia and her destructive behaviour
Normally they sleep under our bed but she has been so destructive she has destroyed some of the carpet.
Nothing we do deters her she is absolutely relentless.
I have bought toys, cardboard boxes, digging boxes etc and she still insists on chewing and digging at the carpet so the decision was made that it’s time to block off under the bed.
Currently I have purchased 2 thick plastic carpet protectors from ikea that they can’t use to get under the bed because it’s too slippery and there is nothing to grip on so I was going to get some more to make sure the whole underneath is covered and they can’t get under.
What’s the best way to make this change without stressing them out?
Especially our boy chewey (who has done nothing wrong). He has a history of having tummy troubles and I don’t want to stress him out too much.
At the moment they are quarantined at night time so she can’t continue to damage the carpet.
Thank you xo
