I have a Holland Lop, Bella, who is 7 months old. A few days ago, I got a new bunny. Taco, a 4 month old Havana buck
Taco just recently got neutered. Bella isn’t spayed yet. I didn’t put them together yet because I’m waiting to spay Bella first, but I did put their living spaces close to each other. On the first day Bella wasn’t very happy that she had to share her space with a new bunny, but a day later, I found them close together, touching noses and flopping next to each other. They started to copy each other, like if one eats the other does too. Most of the time, they are together laying on the floor.
My question is: Is this love at first sight or is this because of hormones? I want to believe its love at first sight since I got Taco because his personality matched Bella’s, but It just got me questioning if this is just from hormones…
I know that this is a bit long, but…Thanks in advance!
