My mini lop is 6 and has bad arthritis. He’s on metacam and abit of tramadol daily and has oxbow joint treats. I currently feed him burgress junior and dwarf pellets as he’s only 1.7/8kg. I recently saw that burgress now do a pellet for mature rabbits (says for 5+ on the website) with added ginseng to supper joints. I was wondering if it would be good to switch his pellets as he’s already got some ginseng in his oxbow treats? Or would it be too much? I don’t give him many pellets anyways, I use them more as treats (I try and keep his diet mainly hay and a bit of veg)

          Hi there,

I just wanted to chime in since no one had responded yet. I don’t have any experience with this, but I think this would be best discussed with your vet. They can help decide whether that would be too much ginseng.
