There is a picture attached, but I can’t seem to fix it. I can do it this evening unless someone else beats me to it.

Picture inserted. The top and bottom-most circles are most clear. For those who cannot make out the focal points due to screen contrast, they seem to be short strips of white substance, as if they are random bone shards (best visual explanation; not implying they are).

What are the symptoms which led to this x-ray? Could there be two conditions going on maybe? I’m not familiar with uterine cancer at all, but it could be the anomalies are unrelated to the cancer or have occurred due to the cancers strain on the rabbit.

I’m so sorry to hear about Tilly’s condition It must have been super scary to hear the news. Hopefully the spay will cure the cancer!

It’s something which many first time owners have no idea about, because there’s not much information on keeping rabbits as house pets. Most of the advices seem to come from the times when they were still kept as meat rabbits. It’s horrible how much misinformation there is about food/toys/housing and yes: preventative health care for rabbits.

Many rabbits live in hutches which are way too small, get the wrong food and don’t receive any health checks. One of our purposes as rabbit enthousiasts is to show people what can be done to make a rabbit a happy and healthy member of the family.

We try to advice all the people around us to neuter/spay their buns, exactly to prevent this situation
I hope that you can help others one day by giving them advice about rabbit care, to make life better for other buns.

Hmm… such perfect lines. Are they deep inside the body? Or could they be mammary ducts? Uterine cancer tends to remain confined to the uterus for a long time. When it finally spreads, it typically spreads to the lungs first. But it can also spread to the mammary glands as well.
