He is happy and isn’t acting different and is still eating and pooping and peeing and being active but last night we seen little white worms in his some of poop.they die after few minutes . what are they and what do u do . can they get on my bedding I don’t want to make him suffer more by keeping him locked up in just very worried. We can’t get him into vet at least till tomorrow. Is there any home remedies . he is an only bun we don’t have any other pets we clean his cage everyday and his area is very clean I don’t know how he would have gotten worms.

A vet will administer a dewormer after examining his poop (so bring some fresh poops along).
Worm eggs can be tracked indoors on our shoes, or from produce or hay etc. and we wouldn’t even know it. I doubt they can get into your bedding, but do wash hands well and sanitize litter space until deworming process is complete to prevent reinfection.

Worms are not an emergency unless they’ve been left untreated for a long time and caused other issues. If you’ve just noticed it, it’s most likely quite recent.

I don’t know (and don’t think there are) any home remedies that can completely eradicate worms from bunny’s system, so getting a dewormer from the vet is the best option.

Bunnies who go outside have a higher chance of getting worms, but otherwise like Q8 said, it could very well come from normal stuff like hay or vegetables. It’s difficult to prevent but pretty easy to treat once it happens.
