Hi guys its Olly Rabbit, yesterday Mummy gave me some water melon as a treat because it was so hot, she made sure there were no pips, we read that a bunny can eat the rind, is this right?

Also can I eat the yellow melon?

        Olly Rabbit xx

guinea pigs certainly can and do eat the skin of all melons we buy including the yellow honeydew, never had a bunny like them but would think they are bunny safe given they are piggy safe

As an aside, Melon is a great name for a bunny.

Elara LOVES Watermelon! She likes cantaloupe too but she’s nuts for watermelon. A nice cool treat for the big heat wave coming our way.
