On an RWAF post on facebook yesterday, someone commented that bunnies shouldn’t have frozen veg, ice cubes or veggie ice cubes, as it can cause stasis in some buns

I’ve done some googling and can’t see any evidence to support this. Various places recommend veggie ice cubes and ice in water. I’ve given my buns frozen veg and ice cubes before and they’ve never had any issues… But is it safe? Does anyone know?

I imagine if you gave your bunny an excessive amount of ice you could lower their internal body temperature to the point where they can’t digest food properly. But excessive amounts of anything can be harmful in some way.

Yeah, I guess that could make sense, but seems a dramatic reason to ban them all together
