Where I live it gets pretty hot during summer, and my apartment has fans going but it still can get a bit warm. My rabbit seems to be able to stay cool in his place under my bed next to the fan, and does not show any signs of being overheated. However, whenever I eat a popsicle, he gets super interested in it! They are too sweet and sugary for me to let him eat, but I think he likes that their coolness. He doesn’t show interest in plain ice cubes though. Are there any rabbit-safe recipes for making bunny popsicles? I don’t want to give him too much sugary fruit and I don’t know if it can be done with veggies.
        Thank you!

I just freeze tupperware boxes with a mix of bunny veg in, so a bit of kale and herbs, top up with water and then freeze. A giant bunny veg ice cube! I also freeze chunks of things like broccoli and celery

Thanks! That is a good idea. I hadn’t thought of using tupperware to make a large sized one. I will try it out!

So I’ve since been told on facebook that frozen veg and ice can cause stasis in some bunnies…

Going to make a topic in the Q&A which is busier to see if anyone else knows more!
