So I noticed that my bunny (free roam) would be happy and binky around one day and be kind of “depressed” and sleepy the next. Usually he’ll be in depressed mode for two days or so every few weeks. He stays in it until I realize it and lie down on the floor with him, letting him explore. Silly me! I do pet him everyday and give him kisses and talk to him, but he needs more than that I think. I plan on getting him a friend in a few months but until then the mood swings will prevail. Or are these mood swings? Just really curious if you experience these sort of thing with your buns too?

I wouldn’t necessarily say those were mood swings or that he’s depressed. Could he not just be taking it easy? Being a bun is hard work :p Having said that, you know your bun best! I’m sure he’d love a friend
