  Spikey has been impacted since Monday. He is only nibbling food and is not pooping normally. 2 visits to the vet for exam, xray, blood work, two treatments of subq fluids and meds. I have to feed him critical care even if he eats food. Needs to poop still. He will have to go back for a stay with iv fluids if he doesn’t seem normal this morning.
  He isn’t blocked, vitals good but blood sugar is high – possibly due to stress. Moving around ok and throwing stink eye and thumps at me and vet.
  Any vibes for fast recovery appreciated.

  Thanks. He’s at the vet getting IV of fluids. Needs to poop. If doesn’t happen then he has to stay over.

  It’s friday am and he got iv of fluids, pain meds and an injection of gut med to work faster. Ate hay and greens and critical care. This morning just a few droppings so far, but that’s better than none. Feisty, with vitals still good.
  Waiting to hear better news about more normal poops. He’ll stay at the vet until.
