So my rabbits all time favorite thing to chew was her Snak Shak brand log. I read that the treats in it are actually not good for them so I considered getting just the activity log from now on, which has no treats but acts like a hidey house. She’s too big for it but it would at least give her some chewing relief. But then I read that it contains pine wood shavings, which, to my understanding isn’t good for them either.
She has started to chew on things she’s not supposed to chew on like my base boards and shelves, and
I’ve driven myself and my rabbit mad buying all these different types of safe chewables. I’ve tried just about every type there is and she is much more interested in home decor.
I’m thinking she really liked the specific texture of those snak shak logs, and want to know if there is a safe-for-buns alternative like it out there.
For those not familiar, here is a link to the toy. Its very rough in texture, almost like a nail filer.

Also if anyone thinks I’m overreacting and the log is probably safe I’d appreciate that information too! Just heard that pine wood is generally to be a avoided.
