So the other day I was with my bun in my living room which has two large jasmine plants and then out of the blue Mars (my rabbit) starts to eat a bunch of the jasmine flowers. I know he wasn’t hungry because I had just fed him his breakfast. Mars is pretty much just a bunny vacuum so I wasn’t surprised but I don’t know if it’s healthy. I checked his poop for the next 24 hours and it was all normal. He was eating Hay and drinking water normally and nothing seemed wrong. Can my bun eat these flowers or are they dangerous?

True jasmine flowers are not poisonous. There is a plant called false jasmine or Carolina jasmine that is toxic though. It has yellow flowers. It’s an outdoors plant.

Jasmine is on the list of usually tolerated veggies: https://binkybunny.com/BUNNYINFO/VeggieList/tabid/144/Default.aspx
