Hello, I currently live in CA, but we are moving to GA around August 1st. I have a 2 year old neutered holland lop male rabbit named Bosco. He’s never been on a plane, and the only car travel has been from when we brought him to our house from the breeder’s (when he was a baby), and a vet visit when he had G.I Statis. My mom is doing a road trip so we can take our car to GA, and the rest of the family plans to take a plane. Which is the best option for a rabbit? 4 and a half day car trip (only driving 8 hours a day), or a 5 hour plane ride for the first time?

I don’t have personal experience with this, but I know a few members here have flown with bunnies.

I would opt for the plane ride. I think the prolonged stress of multiple days of long car rides would be harder on the bun than the plane ride. Aside from take off and landing, the plane would likely be smoother than the car ride (assuming there isn’t much turbulence).
