Gary recently got a weird habit of thrusting out his chin and bumping me with it.

This happens mostly when I open his cage every morning, or when I walk back into the room after a long time.

        I don’t think it’s <g class="gr_ gr_323 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim Punctuation only-del replaceWithoutSep" id="323" data-gr-id="323">aggressive,</g> since he likes to crawl on me while he does this, and often <g class="gr_ gr_354 gr-alert gr_spell gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim ContextualSpelling" id="354" data-gr-id="354">bunnyloafs</g>&nbsp;in my lap or on top of my back <g class="gr_ gr_395 gr-alert gr_spell gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim ContextualSpelling multiReplace" id="395" data-gr-id="395">afterwards</g>. I've read about bunnies chinning people. Is this what chinning looks like?&nbsp;</p>

That is exactly what it sounds like to me. Our little girl would do it to us all the time. My shoes, my jeans, me, all kinds of stuff. Apparently they have scent glands under or around their chin and they mark things accordingly.

You’ve been marked. Everything chinned now belongs to Gary. “Dis is mine. Dis hand is mine. Dis toy is mine. You can keep that thing. Dis box is mine. Dis toe is mine. Yu haz nine more stop complaining. Dis is mine, Dat is mine” It must be cut off and placed on the altar of the bunny.

Haha Bladesmith has explained this very well. A bun chins what belongs to him/her. There are scent glands under the chin. Cats cheek mark, buns chin mark.

I’m kind of confused sometimes, at the chinning rules, though. Like, if the bun chins a book, okay the book is theirs but am I allowed to read it? Or if she chins my purse, do I get to keep the contents of the purse or it is all to be handed over to the bunny?
