Hi guys it’s Olly Rabbit here, so my fur is looking much better since Daddy got me some very posh rabbit food, the sort that cost lots of $, € or £’s for a small bag, my fur is very smooth now, but I have just had a molt, Mummy brushed me but I wasn’t happy and gave her the special bunny look the one where you threaten to bite, I don’t do that very often, but I look at my Mummy and lick my lips and show my teeth, I didn’t bite Mummy I went in my litter tray for 45 minutes, what can Mummy do? This fur must come out, it’s only when Mummy brushes round my bottom (Tail area) this winter coat needs to come off its all the gray from my winter coat under my new Summer coat and I will not let Mummy pick it out either.
        Ideas please guys.
        Thank you xx

Hi Olly! I know penelope hates getting groomed, especially around her butt. I will pet her head until she melts and then ill sneak in with the hair pulling but I keep petting her head so she is relaxed, It doesn’t last too long, but its enough to get some of the major clumps out! Maybe your parents can give you pellets on the ground to distract you during the brushing!
          I hope this helps

Sorry, I don’t have any suggestions for you as my lil Allen dislikes the brushings too. The best I get is petting him when we are outside and releasing the clumps of fuzz to the wind. I would like to ask though, what kind of brushes do y’all use? I have tried the furminator, one with the thick bristles, and one with the soft metal bristles but he will have none of it. I’d love to find him something he would at least tolerate. Maybe those tools weren’t gentle enough?
