I noticed Caramel hasn’t been peeing or pooping in her cage for over a week , but she does go in her litter box . Is it weird ?

I’m honestly confused by this. The ultimate goal is to get them to stop littering in their cages and only use a litter box to go to the bathroom in. That’s why we litter train them and even have a litter box.

Do you perhaps mean she has two litter boxes, one outside her cage and one inside, and she has now shifted to only using the one outside the cage and no longer the one inside her cage? Or are you showing concern that she is no longer using her cage as she used to?

If you can give information about the set-up, what you used to observe, and what’s currently happening, that would be helpful.

A rabbit using a litter box is common.

Do you mean she’s going into her litter box but isn’t doing her business in it?

Sorry I never had the notifications on , so btw I found out Caramel is a He not a she . And basically he would wait to be out the cage to go pee . I would go to school and leave him in the cage lets say 3-4 hours and instead of just peeing or pooping in the cage ,which has a pee guard thingy that has bedding and collects and pee or poop whole he’s in the cage , on the lower part of the cage , he would hold it . I guess it isn’t a bad thing I was just worried and had found it weird.
