Long time reader- first time poster.
My rabbit is an dwarf lop angora. I noticed a few days ago he has this pea sized lump on his side. It feels almost crusty but it is my ozzing and at this time not swollen. I have attached a picture. I have a vet appointment for him but it’s not for another two weeks and wondering if anyone else has had experience with his. He’s 4 years old. I have spent all this time looking at abscesses and warts and god know what else online and it has only freaked me out more. Any advice is welcome thanks.
Also I have tried to post a photo but it keeps saying my file type is not allowed

Does sound like an abscess. Could you take him in to the vet sooner?

The pictures have to be in .jpg format to work (not even .jpeg would work). It also has to be smaller than 500kb.

I’ve sent you a PM regarding the picture.

When did you first notice the lump? (An abscess can grow really fast). Do your bun get outdoors time? If you touch the lump, does it seem to be attached to deeper tissues or is it “loose”?
