How did the vet make this determination? If it was truly anaphylaxis, there would have been signs. Anaphylaxis is a severe allergic reaction. In people, it’s usually from something like peanuts or a bee sting in people who are severely allergic.

Is this the same bunny that screamed before for “no reason”? I’m wondering if he was suffering from seizures or a congenital defect. How did his brother die?

I’m very sorry to hear about your bunny.

Just based on what I said happened before he died. No this wasn’t the same bunny that screamed. His brother died in the same way. This honestly dosent make any sense at all. Well they had very bad and shallow breathing problems before they died so she new that Anaphylaxis caused breathing problems. But other then that there was none…. I was holding him and he started to breath funny then couldn’t stand up right. I was in the car ready to take him to the vet and he died. Brother just started to take several deep breaths in then 3 short then would stop breathing and then repeat. Then he died.

They could have had a congenital heart problem perhaps. The lungs and the heart work very closely together. It would make sense too that two siblings had the same hereditary condition.

But your vet must’ve ruled that out somehow. Anaphylaxis is a severe allergic chock, as LBJ says.

I’m very sorry for your losses. It’s so sad.
