I’m not sure what to call this, but I have noticed it for a long time and am wondering if it is normal or if it indicates a heart or breathing problem.  Know how after your bun is hopping around a bit, they will lay down and flop, and on occasion you can sort of see their ears and body moving?

Well I’ve noticed a few times that as I watch my buns body move slightly up & down from the breathing, there is sometimes a “flutter” for a few seconds.  Like it will be a normal evenly spaced breathing pattern, then its almost like an extra breath or two gets thrown into the pattern.  Basically like an extra heartbeat, but its the breathing.  Hope this makes sense and someone knows what I mean, wish I had a video.  I do tend to pay attention to detail so I don’t know if most people even notice this.  Thanks.

I know a lot of times when my buns flop, I can’t see them breathe but then they will after a bit, and seem to act like yours is. You can always go to the vet and make sure their lungs are working right, just for a piece of mind
