Hello my bunny Luna is 8 months old and I have been feeding her spring mix and baby spring mix along with cilantro and parsley everyday for a couple weeks now. I currently am on vacation and got paranoid Redding articles saying that romaine lettuce isn’t safe? Among other things. I know iceberg is a no and that’s not in there. I’ve heard and seen other bunny parents give their buns spring mix. But now I’m concerned. Any input?

Romaine is perfectly safe for buns, I feed my Cinnabun spring mix twice a day for the entire time I’ve had her! She’s currently 7 years old and perfectly healthy. It’s a good healthy mix of veggies. I believe there was an E. coli scare with romaine lettuce these past couple weeks, which is why you may have been reading tons of articles about avoiding romaine? I think the crisis has been averted recently, however.

My boys love spring mix (except the spinach). I feed it to them a few times a week. Completely safe

I recently read that romaine in the US has been declared safe again, so I’m starting to give my bun some again today. Its been his favorite ever since I got him! ?
