My rabbit, Sammy, isn’t food motivated AT ALL, I have tried almost everything to get at least a little bit of movement towards it from Apples, Bananas, raisins, bunny treats and so on and all the movement he gives me is moving his head towards it and if he deems it is to far away from him he doesn’t move at all. He isn’t an attention seeker but is a VERY curious and active bunny. He still really enjoys food and will quickly eat any treats I give him when it is put on the floor or I hand feed it to him. I would really like to train him to recognize his name and come when called as well as some other fun little tricks if possible (stand up on hind legs, spin around, jump over something, ext.) And most of all like to be able to better train him at being litter trained (which he already pretty much is and I know that doesn’t require any treats or anything along those lines). He is a young bunny (will be turning a year old in September) and is very smart and sly, anyone have any ideas??? Any would help and thank you for your time in advance! ?

I would train him to respond to a clicker. You say he likes being hand fed treats so click and immediately give a treat, click and treat. If he really likes his pellets you’re better off using those as treats shop that he doesn’t get top much sugar. You could repeat it 5-10 times in a session. 2 or 3 times a day until he learns that the click means a treat. Then move onto his name. Call his name and if he looks towards you you cam click the moment he looks and then give a treat. Repeat until he knows to respond to his name every time. From there you can move onto coming when called and other tricks, the cluck will hello bun to learn quicker as it identifies the exact moment of a correct behaviour.
