Todd is most definitely a boy-and a hormonal boy at that. He’s begun spraying but his testicles have not fully dropped yet…

Anyway, He has peed on the other bun and being both white, his orange pee is starting to stain some of her fur. I have them in the same room in separate cages (In hopes that after snip-snip they will bond fairly well) She is still a baby (age unknown) but very snuggly and somewhat unsure of herself.

So baths are usually not recommended- Is there anything I can do about her stained fur?

**Her gender is yet unknown. We have a male cat that we continue to refer to as a SHE just because it helps us figure out which cat we mean. Like He knocked over the trashcan and SHE ate all the dog food. Regardless of what gender Hassanpfeffer turns out to be we will probably still refer to her as a SHE**

The only thing to do for stained fur is to wipe it with a damp cloth if you like, or unscented baby wipes, that may hep a little. However the staining will remain until bun sheds out her coat.

Are their cages connected? I only ask because rabbits can mate through bars so if you do have a male and female, he could still get get pregnant even though they’re in different cages. If their cages aren’t connected it’s obviously not an issue

If he can spray on her successfully, he can impregnate her. Rabbits can launch their sperm. Females can get pregnant as early as three months old, which can also be deadly for her and her kits.

Wait, hold up. Rabbits can launch their-

So when they are spraying urine they are practicing for-

Oh god! I had no idea!!! O.O

              Thank you guys so much.

p.s I was misinformed on how early they can get pregnant. I thought it was 6-7 months. (Maybe that’s cats)
I’m moving their cages apart pronto-even if “she” is a he….
