A few days ago I discovered my rabbit had wet, matted fur by her nose. Now, I’ve noticed that her nose area is still wet and matted but the neck area under her dewlap is completely soaked. She’s acting prettt normal, is eating and drinking and pooping.

Is this an upper respiratory infection? Is she slobbering from the mouth?

Is there anything I can do to help this go away naturally? The vet has a waiting list of 3-5 business days.
I read online that grape seed extract and euchinera can help.

Is she sneezing at all? How are her eyes?

My bunny has a chronic infection that has taken months of vet visits to get rid of it, and we still haven’t gotten rid of it. He has sneezing fits often, and his eyes are watery and crusty. A sneeze every once in a while is normal though.

Is she in a room with strong smells? Candles, Air fresheners, wax melts, perfumes, etc. are highly irritating to a bunnies lungs, as they are super super sensitive.  If she is having sneezing fits, a few in a row often, then it could be an infection.

The neck being wet thing, i would say its just drool from her mouth. But i’d take her into the vet for an overall checkup, and make sure they check her back teeth to make sure they are okay as well, if the drool is a continuous thing.

She isn’t sneezing and her eyes aren’t watery! She’s also eating and pooping fine. She lives outdoors and goes out to graze during the day and sleeps in her cage at night.

She might have allergies, one of my buns has bad allergies and sneezes and has alot of discharge and lives inside so its a mystery to me of how he has them so bad. She might have gotten a bug bite in her nose since she lives outside and so her nose is runny.
